early days

I'm not 100% sure, but I think this photo was made with a Holga using Polaroid film. For several years, in the early 2000s, I was madly in love with toy cameras.

I am 100% sure that I shot this in my studio at the Copeland Block. The mannequin is the first one I bought. Her name is Serena. She's padded with duct tape and plastic bags, so it's not her first rodeo. It's been a long time since I used her to make a sculpture, but she still lives in my basement.

I think I must have been just starting to build "it was dark, there were teeth."
