
Back in 2015, I stumbled across a collection of photos of people in weird costumes holding taxidermied animals. I was doing a lot of blind contour drawing at the time, and those photos were fun to work from. So full of details!
This one was done on Yupo paper, which is a fancy way of saying that I drew it on a sheet of plastic. I used permanent markers, and filled in the background with smears and blots of India ink.
I'm starting to think about having an open studio soon. It'll be my first one since 2022. Maybe I'll make some big weird drawings and invite visitors to color them.
